Showers and more showers!

And I am not talking about the kind of showers that get you clean. We have been busy lately with baby and bridal showers. Grace loved going to her Aunty K's bridal shower a few weeks ago. Sadly I didn't get a picture of her with Aunty K, but hopefully Grandma G did. Here are a few in her cute dress her Great Aunty Cheryl got her.

Last weekend was a baby shower for my best friend Sarah who is expecting a baby in November. Here is another adorable picture of Grace sporting a dress I forgot I had gotten her - good thing I found a reason for her to wear it!

At the shower Grace saw her boyfriend Isaiah.

"Look Isaiah I don't kiss on the first date!"

Wagons are fun!

Going for a ride!

Grace has had lots of fun at these showers - mostly because she also gets to have a cupcake and other treats.

You may notice in some photos coming up in our blog Grace does not have her glasses on. The other day as we were walking to the car she fell forward right on her glasses (in some ways this is good since the glasses probably saved her scraping her face) and scratched them. The scratches are so bad you can't even see through the lenses right now. So, I had to order a new pair...thankfully these scratch resistant (yeah right) lenses were under warranty so we don't have to pay a thing. They should be in next week. It sure is weird seeing her without glasses.

Finally, here is a Halloween preview. We went out to a Halloween get together today and she sported her poodle skirt Aunty K made her. Isn't she a cute 50's girl?

Happy 15 month birthday Grace!

15 month stats
21 pounds 6 oz.
31 inches tall

Her 15 month photos were taken at Grandma G's since we were up at her house.

Trouble, trouble trouble!

Grace always seems to be getting into trouble these days. I think it comes with exploring and learning how to do things. First she loves to climb and I mean loves it! Here she is up on our ottoman...getting up there is fine with us until she stands - I tell you trouble.

And then there is eating. She doesn't seem to do it at daycare much, but at home she is all about putting food in her hair. Here is what happened recently with yogurt and then her favorite mac and cheese I make her.

Here she is checking out the toilet paper in the bathroom.

I am sure Grace will continue to get into lots of trouble as she grows up. Right now though, it sure is hard to discipline her when she flashes her adorable smile!

Our first trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday we took Grace out to the pumpkin patch at the Chatfield Botanic Gardens. We had a good time checking out the pumpkins and walking around. It was also a perfect fall day here minus the wind - it was finally below 80 here. Grace sported her pumpkin shirt and her a bit too small pumpkin hat that I had gotten her last year. She was a hit. I swear if I had a $1 for every time people say she is so cute, I would be rich! Here are some photos.

One of Grace's new tricks is that she acts like she is talking on the phone. It is too cute as she walks around with the phone up to her ear talking away.

Grace has one final message this morning - Go Bears!
